The Level 2 exam usually includes a number of questions about the heart, including ones about its four chambers, the atria and ventricles, and the direction that blood flows between them. So even if this information is of limited use when you’re working as a personal trainer, you still need to know it in order to pass the exam!
Hopefully this diagram will help you remember the key points. Just remember that when we talk about the left and right side of the heart it’s as if we’re referring to our own heart, so when we say the right we’re talking about our right, not the right as it appears when you’re looking at it from the front:
